How to find your Medium article ideas
Do you keep a notepad by your bed, and in the middle of the night, if you have a brilliant thought, do you wake up and jot it down? I don't do that. I would never get back to sleep!
Do you see people and things in your travels, and they become story ideas? That often happens to me; I think life is a story waiting to be told or written. And then, there are those days when absolutely nothing comes to mind!
I've realized, lately, that my best options on Medium are to check through Medium Publications. I often find topics that flip the switch in my Writer's Mind, and I can build upon them.
I also like to check through the recommended topics. Sometimes, one of those will give me ideas.
I also check news articles and try to "think outside the box." Go beyond the news and create another story. Dig deep into the reaches of your mind and make a story out of a story.
I'm still looking for my niche!
