What caused Facebook to suspend me permanently?

I was a Facebook addict and had been a “user” for years. It was my “drug of choice.” That was the first thing I did every morning, and then I was off and on Facebook for most of the day. That was how I stayed connected.

I would share my blog post on my Facebook page, and often I would write my stories directly to Facebook. Oh, how I wish I had written those on my blog instead. (Continue reading to understand this statement.)

As the Administrator for my church page, each morning, I would get online and post Bible verses or something worthwhile for church members to read. As an avid Genealogist (not certified, well, maybe certifiable!), I also had Facebook pages for various Family surnames.

On July 25th, I tried to sign on and received a shocking “your account has been suspended for 30 days. Your posts or comments violate our Community Standards.”

The thirty days are up; however, the suspension wasn’t reversed! I wasn’t a Political poster, and I didn’t use foul language. I Googled every possible way to recover my account but to no avail.

Whatever I had posted on Facebook was no longer accessible to me. Any stories I had written or shared, any family information, or anything on my church page were probably still there but not for me to have.
